This font is called “Adobe Caslon” and was made in 1990 by Carol Twombly with the assistance of William Caslon. This typeface was published by Adobe and is an OpenType font that is provided free with Adobe Creative Studio. This typeface was originally made in 1725 by William Caslon I. Adobe Caslon was derived from this typeface and Twombly was able to study rare specimen sheets printed for the William Caslon type foundry from 1738 to 1786. She took photographic samples in different point sizes in order to analyze the font properly.
This font is called “Myriad”, and it was designed by Carol Twombly and co-designer, Robert Slimbach. It is a sans-serif typeface that has an extensive family, ranging from light to black, condensed to semi-extended, and italics. It was one of Adobe’s first multiple master typefaces that was made. This means that the font has multiple axes, this includes weight, width, optical size, and/or style. It took around two years for the font to be completed with the work split between both parties.
